AAQA stands for the American Accreditation Quality Association. AAQA is a USA-based international accreditation body that makes a significant contribution to strengthening the quality infrastructure worldwide. AAQA provides total quality assurance services to both USA and international service-oriented industries and institutions. These industries include education, finance, insurance, healthcare, hospitals, IT (Information Technology), consumer services, restaurants, retail stores, repair shops, maintenance, and cleaning businesses, among others. The service industry is highly diverse, encompassing sectors such as communications, hospitality, banking, consulting & staffing, wellness, entertainment, travel, transportation, professional services, and more.
AAQA’s international member institutions include EIEAS (European International Education Accreditation Standards), IEQAB (International Education Quality Accreditation Body), BQS (Board of Quality Standards), ITQSM (Institute of Total Quality Service Measurement), and WAC (World Accreditation Commission). AAQA also adheres to TQM (Total Quality Management) standards based on ISO.

TQM:

AAQA Institutional Accreditation and Program Accreditation: AAQA offers two main types of accreditation:
- Institutional Accreditation: A comprehensive evaluation of entire educational institutions, including their mission, vision, goals, academic programs, resources, faculty, and student services. AAQA’s rigorous evaluation processes demonstrate high standards of academic or service quality independently.
- Program Accreditation: Specific to individual programs within educational institutions, it involves a neutral review process by external experts to ensure programs meet defined quality standards, such as those in business, engineering, arts, and law.
AAQA Accreditation: AAQA Institutional Accreditation is an Institutional accreditation process through a comprehensive evaluation of an entire educational institution, including its mission, vision, goals or objectives, academic programs, resources, faculty, and student services. AAQA acts through a rigorous evaluation processes to demonstrate their high standards of academic quality or service quality standards independently. AAQA Institutional accreditation helps University, colleges, schools prove their educational merit in addition to making them eligible for recognition in the national and international arena through different other channels.
For other Institutional Accreditation falls under AAQA Membership categories such as Full Membership, Associate Membership, Affiliate Membership. And Individual Membership is applicable for an Individual.
AAQA Program accreditation is specific to a school’s programs. It is a neutral review process, completed by an external team of experts from academia, academia professional, reviewers and or industry, to determine if educational programs meet defined set of quality standards such as professional programs like business, engineering, arts and law.
AAQA programmatic accreditation is a means by which students, patrons, parents, the community, and other stakeholders of the institution can be assured that the academia unit complies with high quality standards, set of principles, excellence in quality and follows best practices in higher education, professional and vocational trainings.

AAQA Accreditation Process:
While standards and methods vary by accreditation agency to agency, many of them maintain the same general accreditation process. That process begins with an institution or program applying for accreditation, which can take from one month to three months or even takes years. AAQA is ready and willing to assist in providing accreditation services through a systematic approach. When an institution applies for Accreditation, willing to expand effort sometimes a self-study report for evaluation and analyzes is used from administrative, faculty and student perspectives.
Accreditation is a process of validation in which colleges, universities, and other service oriented industries institutions of higher learning and services are evaluated. The standards for accreditation are set by a peer review board whose members include faculty from various accredited colleges and universities.
The AAQA accreditation process involves an inspection of the related service oriented industries institutions supporting activities, provisions, and documentation: Registration, License, existing Accreditation (if available) that help ensure the efficiency of the learning process within the institution. Any institution considering getting accredited by AAQA should submit their application form on the official AAQA website or directly submit to AAQA Accreditation Team through Email. During application submission, all required documentation copies of the respective institution should accompany this prescribed application form. There are several general phases or steps in the AAQA accreditation process:

- Application Fee Payment: Pay non-refundable application fee upon receipt of invoice.

- On-Site Assessment: AAQA conducts on-site visits or online meetings for evaluation.
- Decision: AAQA’s Accreditation Committee decides on accreditation status.
- Dues Payment: Upon approval, institutions pay accreditation dues.
- Accreditation Certificate: AAQA issues a digital certificate with QR code and signature.
- Continuous Review: AAQA ensures ongoing quality through internal audits and external reviews, offering recommendations for improvement.
